Events that occurred on the 10th of Muharram


Many important events regarding Previous Prophets occurred on this Day other than Battle of Karbala. That is the reason why 10th of Muharram is important.

Allah forgave Prophet Adam on the day of Ashura (the tenth of Muharram).

Allah preserved Prophet Noah, allowing his ark to land quietly and successfully on land.

Allah protected Prophet Ibrahim from the oppressive Nimrood;

The Prophet Ya’qoob and his son Yusuf were united by Allah.

Story of Prophet Yusuf

Allah granted the Children of Israel and the Prophet Musa victory, split the sea for them, and destroyed Pharaoh (Fir awn).

Allah pardoned Prophet Dawud and bestowed great sovereignty upon Prophet Sulaiman.

And on that day, Allah rescued Prophet Yunus from the whale by bringing him out.

Allah healed Prophet Ayyub on the tenth of Muharram.

The Battle of Dhat ar-Riqa took place on that day.
