Being a man of TRUTH, Muhammad Prophet (PBUH) never lied. he stated in numerous hadiths that one should never deceive, not even intentionally.

What Quran says about lying

“Surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful.” (Surah az-Zumar 39:3)
