Our parents do so much right from the beginning. From kindergarten, to going to jobs, to getting married, they helped in every step. We can never compensate them for their graciousness. In any case, we can put forth a valiant effort to respect them and treat them well.
In the Quran, Allah s.w.t. says:
“Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour.”
(Surah Al-Isra, 17:23)
Perhaps of everything thing that you can manage is to continually make true dua for them, regardless of whether they are no longer with us. The Prophet s.a.w. urged us to continue to pray to Allah for our parents. For sure, duas to God will keep on helping them.
At the point when an individual passes on, his deeds reach an end, with the exception of three: A continuous charity, information that others profited from, and a devout child who (proceeds to) pray God for him
(Sahih Muslim)
There are many sorts of Dua that we can appeal to God for our parents. It could in fact be any request that is voiced profound from the heart. Genuinely, Allah will hear even our smallest cry. Here are some duas from the Quran to be made for our folks:
